Supplying Artwork

If you intend to supply artwork for your print work, plese read the following, if you are unsure about any of the terms, check our jargon buster or give us a call.

QuarkXpress

1. QuarkXpress Document
2. All Fonts Supplied (Collected for Output)
3. All TIFF/EPS/JPEG files Hi-Res 300dpi, CMYK
4. Bleed Required 3mm
5. Colour/Black and White Proof
6. Die-Cutting forms (where necessary, trapping set to overprint)

FreeHand/Illustrator

1. FreeHand/Illustrator Documents
2. Where possible Export Documents as EPS/TIFF files with fonts embedded or converted to curves
3. If you are embedding tiff files CYMK only
4. NO TIFF files exported from Photoshop with transparent background.
5. Colour/Black and White Proof

Corel Draw

1. Please supply hi-res (300 dpi) EPS, PDF or TIFF files with fonts converted to curves
2. Colour/Black and White Proof

PageMaker

1. PageMaker Document
2. All Pictures/Illustrations Linked to Document and supplied on disc
3. Colour/Black and White Proof

Adobe PDF

1. Hi-Res, 300dpi, CMYK
2. Colour/Black and White Proof
3. Fonts embedded
4. Adobe gives the option to flatten the pdf file and embed the fonts

Please note that if artwork is supplied in other formats there may be additional artworking costs to the quotation, if you are unsure please call and ask our team for advice.
